239 Hoang Sa, P. 11, Dist 3, Utopia Map, 293-5950. Gay sauna and spa. 1/F has lockers, dry and wet steam, jacuzzi and relaxing lounge. Friendly neighborhood sauna with massage.

372/25 Cach Mang Thang Tam St (small alley opposite the large "Bakery" shop), Dist 3, Utopia Map, 2248-6371. Go all the way down to the end of the alley and look for the samll TD sign. This small neighborhood sauna is a little gem. Beautifully decorated in a colorful, Moroccan style. The patrons are gorgeous, fit and friendly. G/F has reception area and lockers (be sure to wear the rubber slippers provided because the stairs and landings are otherwise trecherously slippery). 2/F and 3/F have massage rooms, bathrooms and a resting nook. 4/F has dry sauna, steam room, and a relaxing lounge. That's it - hot men, warm sauna.

70 Ba Huyen Thanh Quan, Dist 3, Utopia Map. A small lane leads into the club. Mainly a pick up place. Use as a meeting point and then have fun elsewhere (there are masseuses here, not masseurs). Pool and steam room.

Phu Tho Stadium, Dist 10, Utopia Map. Very local scene, but friendly for visitors. Almost all the men in this sauna are gay. Steam and dry sauna. Play goes on in the soaking pool. Some guys go to take a rest in the massage rooms. You can wander down the massage room hallway and look over the swinging doors. You can try your hand at giving a massage or watch a massage being given. Busy noon-5pm, quiet after 7pm.

Take Nguyen Thi Minih Khai Rd northeast, out of town. Immediately (and we mean immediately) after you cross the Binh Trieu Bridge, turn right down the little dirt road (don't miss the turn!). You will see the Nadam Spa sign for motorcycle parking and staff who will direct you from there, or walk left and then right down a small driveway to this hidden gem. One of Asia's top five gay men's complexes and by far the best in Vietnam. As with Bangkok's famous Babylon, the owner here has created a private pleasure palace, constructed of traditional Vietnamese architectural elements from Hue. Get your locker key from the reception desk in a lobby filled with a collection of antiques. Staff will show you to your locker and provide fluffy, fresh towels and slip-proof rubber slippers. Large and sophisticated wet area with rain showers; a hot pool; an infrared sauna; dry sauna; and steam room whose vapors rise through a large basket of fresh pandanus and lemongrass. There is also a large, cool bathing pool with jacuzzi jets and massage fountains - gorgeous! Elsewhere, a second shower area is adjacent to an incredible traditional Vietnamese wooden building - a dim resting area filled with inlaid Chinese wooden beds and benches and lit by flickering salt lamps at night. there are also water lined walkways leading to more resting nooks, tea pavilions, wooden swings, and an upstairs garden balcony. Above the locker room are massage rooms (see listing under Massage and Spas). From the stairway off the lobby are more massage rooms on 2/F and a 3/F relaxing lounge subdivided into nooks with large velvety pillows (each big enough to accommodate couples or groups) and sheer silk dividers, dimly lit by red silk lanterns at night. Aside from the luxurious premises, the Vietnamese crowd of mostly young, fit professionals, is unbelievably friendly - nearly everyone will return your smile and most are happy to learn more about you, even if you're not each other's type. The staff are clearly happy, well-trained and welcoming. They keep the superb facilities spotlessly clean. Busy in the afternoons, but, as the night falls the romantic mood takes over and NaDam becomes packed with amorous comrades. Open noon to 11pm. "A gay popular new sauna: Binh Minh (mainly for young gays), located at L 19, Number 1 Street, Ward 3, Binh Thanh Dist. As you cross Hoang Hoa Tham bridge the sauna will be on the left side. Open 9am-11pm. Entrance fee is D$60,000 (about US$3) and includes a free bottle of cold water. Cleanest sauna in HCMC. From Ben Thanh Market go to Truong Dinh St heading towards, and turn right on, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai St. Then, turn left on Ding Tien Hoang St. Then take the first left onto Tran Quang Khai St and after about 250m turn right and cross Hoang Hoa Tham bridge.
