Advisory: On June 8, 2019, Bhutan decriminalized homosexuality. Minister Namgay Tshering, who submitted the recommendation to repeal sections 213 and 214 of the penal code, said the laws had become "a stain" on the country's reputation and added that "there is a high degree of acceptability of the LGBT community in our society."

Thimphu is the capital city of Bhutan and has just 100,000 people. The population of the whole country is only 700,000 (that's only about 30,000 Utopians nationwide and most are not open about their orientation).
