Darwin is a tropical city on the northern tip of Australia, half way between Singapore and Sydney. It is the fastest developing city in Australia with a cosmopolitan mix of Aborigines, caucasians, Asians, and Africans. Direct flights link Darwin to Bali, Singapore and Brunei as well as all of Australia's main cities. It is not surprising that the city has become the hub of a booming tourist industry with great bush trips to the national Parks of Litchfield and Kakadu. Fishing is another popular tourist attraction.
