"Sat night, I asked the manager on the G/F what the standard tip to the masseur would be; he said D$200,000. I was then taken to 1/F and able to chose from about 12 men sitting in a room (similar to Bangkok massage locations). I chose Dat, for a 60 minute session. He was well trained and gave me a high quality massage. The use of the hot stones on the back was really nice, never had experienced that before. Dat pick up my signals. Wonderful massage! I gave him a good tip, no problem or hassle from him. So satisfied, I went back on Sun night and had 90 minutes with Dat!" -- DuyLinh, Jun 15, 2013
"Zspa massage has moved to this new location, 829 Hong Ha, about next 50m from their old location in the same road. The massage room in the new location is nicer and the address more easy to find." -- guy_in_hanoi , May 14, 2013
"I think Zspa is the biggest gay massage and the best service in Hanoi. Tip for massuer is up to you. There are many massuers to choose from. If your massage is not good, you can comment to the reception desk." -- guy_in_hanoi, Feb 19, 2013
"Went yesterday to ZSpa around 5pm. I was very nicely greeted. I asked specifically for a 90 minute oil massage, got assigned a masseur named Ben. All went very well for about 30 minutes. When I had turned on my back the masseur started asking about how much tip I would be giving. I said 'I donīt know, maybe D$50,000 or so.' He then told me he would take D$400,000, which is more than the cost of the massage itself. I told him no way. After some minutes he lost concentration and continued haggling about his tip. All my relaxed feeling was gone, so i decided to quit. He started writing a receipt for 90min even though it was actually only 45 minutes. After a little more arguing, he wrote a new receipt for 60 minutes. I told him I would pay for 45 minutes only, no more! When he realized my seriousness he offered to continue the massage, but I was so through and left. So, I donīt recommend to go here unless their policy changes dramatically with clear arrangements from the managment (or unless you are willing put up with unwanted discussions)." -- mhhh, Jan 26, 2013
"For those of you thinking of trying a tam quat (traditional massage), be cautious. The masseurs may give you a good massage (if you like pounding and slapping), but they may also try to extort money from you. Don't be intimidated, negotiate all terms up front, and don't let any additional masseurs touch you unless you're willing to tip them all individually. Don't go to a private room where they may lock the door and menace you until they get what they want. Visitors are well-advised to stick to fixed price establishments or gay-run places." -- webmaster, Jan, 2013
