"I have been to this place many, many times over the years. Silom Plaza was once the most popular massage place in the Silom area but is now long past it's sell-by date. The new manager, who calls herself Tuu, is a very camp queen with hair bunched on top - that was my first turn off. I tried to get information from her and all I got was that all the men here are men! Well, strangely, I could see that myself. So I tried the another route and asked a guy who I had seen in the past. He was very helpful and subsequently during my visits here I managed to have some nice guys. They usually have about 20 guys working and some have very nice bodies indeed. A few of the guys I tried can actually give proper massage but mostly they can't. They just get you on the table rub a bit of oil over you and then start to rub their body parts against your feet or hang it in your face while they pretend to massage your shoulders from behind your head. It seems to me that most of the guys just want to do special service and get you out as soon as possible. The minimum price for oil massage is B$450 and the minimum tip B$500 (the cheapest I came across on this trip). I visited 5 times and tried 12 of the masseurs. I found two who were exceptionally good and could do proper massage. The truth is the place is rather run down. The rooms need a good makeover.
