Bangkok held its 6th pride parade on November 21, 2004, culminating a weeklong festival that kicked off with the annual Pride in the Park on the preceding weekend. Highlights included sporting competititons; the annual Long Yang Club international conference; the 5th annual Utopia Awards for gay and lesbian pioneers in Asia; a dinner cruise on the spectacular River of Kings; and parties and special events organized by Bangkok's leading gay businesses and community organizations.
