The Slip Bar has pool tables and Thai food, and the Sand Bar offers more privacy for chilling out. The garden overlooks Darling Harbour. The music is lush, the staff are brilliant and clearly enjoy their jobs. Plus, the food is great and the crowd worth oogling.

  "The Bearded Tit closed down a few months ago, unfortunately, after being in operation for 11 years. Riley Hotel at 77 Oxford St has a great bar that serves food and usually has a live DJ on Fri and Sat nights. While it isn't a gay bar as such, most of the staff are gay and can provide information on the local scene. There is security out the front who will keep drunk pests away.
