Every time I brought a guest, regardless of overnight or not, they automatically charged B$500 to the bill.   "La Residence feels more like staying in your own apartment than in a hotel. The manager and staff are incredibly nice and helpful. The single rooms are small, clean (nice minimal modern decor -- sort of feels like a college dorm room). It's located next to Somboon Seafood, a short walk from the Saladaeng or Chong Nonsi BTS Sky Train stations. Safe, quiet, clean, inexpensive, friendly. A 12-room gay guesthouse with restaurant, coffee lounge, sidewalk café and Internet section. Lovely rooms all have a large double bed with aircon, ensuite bathroom, safe, wi-fi Net access, fridge, phone, tea and coffee facilities, and cable TV. There is also security on duty 24 hours a day. Very inexpensive: rates start at less than US$20 per night.

The room was simple and clean, bathroom also very clean. It cost me B$550/night including a nice breakfast buffet. Lots of gay stay here.   "We spent a night at Aquarius Guesthouse and literally ran away in the morning. The room and the bathroom were very dirty, the sheets were full of stains.
