The annual Pride in the Park kicked off Bangkok Pride Week 2003 on November 8. The park was crowded with people out to celebrate loy kratong, the Thai Festival of floating candle-lit floral offerings. Booths were set up by local gay businesses, clubs, hotels, organizations, and recording and film companies. The indoor stadium roared with cheers for the ongoing volleyball competition. Cultural programs and safer sex information were presented on stage in the auditorium. The 2nd annual Dragoncastle Sexy Swimsuit Competition was attended by actor Art (see pic at right!), the charming star of the forthcoming feature film, Beautiful Boxer.
