Bruno Forrer, well-known restaurateur and philanthropist, passed away at 12.07 am 7th May 2003 in the Bangkok Pattaya hospital.Bruno was an openly gay businessman and outspoken member of Pattaya's business community for more than three decades. He quietly and unselfishly provided much needed support for Thailand's developing gay communities and donated the resources of his business for fundraising events without fanfare. His generous contributions to the Thai gay community were recognized with a 2002 Utopia Award. He will be fondly remembered. |
