The organizers of the International Lesbian and GayAssociation (ILGA) World Conference in Manila announced their hosting of the Manila Pink Film Festival to be held on 11-18 November this year.Respected filmmaker and writer Nick Deocampo, director of the Mowelfund Film Institute is teaming up withthe organizers of ILGA's 22nd World Conference, to assemble a diverse international collection of queer movies, short films and videos to liven up the parallel cultural festivals alongside the main conference. The Pink Film Festival help one of the Philippines' first public screenings of lesbian and gay-themed movies in 1998.
