The fourth annual Phuket Gay Pride Festival will be held from Feb 6 - 9 in Patong Beach, the popular beachside resort city on Phuket Island. This annual festival has has garnered both community and official support to become one of southeast Asia's premiere pride events, drawing crowds of tourists and locals to join the fun and festivities.This year, festival events are helping to raise money for the "Leam Phet Buddhist Temple" in Patong which assists the poor and needy in the area. Activities include an art exhibition, sightseeing tours, a beach volleyball competition, street parties and a festival grand parade along the main beach road.
