After two traffic lights, turn left (Petronas) and turn right to Jln Persiaran Limau Manis. When you see the traffic light again, they are located just on the left in a new shoplot (look for the Mylife telephone ). Entry from back door. Dark room and steam room.

"A little difficult to find. Nice and clean. Not many facilities and some under construction. The reception is friendly to non-locals. We went mid week in the afternoon not long after the opening time, but few guys there then - the usual teasers - but on the whole a very nice visit. BUTTERWORTH

71A & B, Jln Perai Empat, Bandar Perai Jaya, Butterworth (two streets behind the Megamall), Utopia Map. Get there from George Town by taking the free KAT bus on Penang Rd to the ferry pier. Take the ferry across the harbour to the other side, then take bus 703 to the Megamall (10 minutes). Go to the second street around the back. Steam bath, TV room, dark room, etc. A lot of action in the steam room. Open showers. Crowd is friendly, more Malay and Indian, with a mix of body types from young sporty to chubs. Open nightly on weekdays and in the late afternoon on weekends.

"Had great, fun time at U2! Variety of types of men, as the only famous sauna in the north region, so you will have many options to choose. Not as clean as compared to saunas in KL, but, hey, when you have one thing in mind, who gives care about cleanliness! The crowd was quite respectful when the Muslim prayer call was played on radio.
